General Policies

Check in is from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or as otherwise arranged. Since we have to run all errands between guests, please let us know if this changes so we don't miss you. Valid photo I.D. required. Checkout is 11:00 a.m.

Maximum two people per room unless otherwise arranged. The Senator Edmond Beall and Mary Harris rooms have an adjoining door which can be unlocked from each side to form a connecting suite.

NO SMOKING, CANDLES, OR INCENSE. Please enjoy our smoke free property. UNDER THE SMOKE-FREE ILLINOIS ACT (PUBLIC ACT 095-1029) IT A CRIME TO SMOKE IN—OR WITHIN 15 FEET OF—THE PROPERTY. VIOLATORS WILL BE EVICTED WITHOUT REFUND, CREDIT CARD WILL BE CHARGED A MINIMUM $500 ROOM RECOVERY FEE, AND CRIMINAL PENALTIES MAY APPLY.
By order of the fire marshal, candles or incense are not permitted.

NO Red Wine, Grape Juice, Tomato Juice, Bloody Mary Mix, or other items that may stain. Please enjoy other food and snacks in the Dining Room, Butler's Pantry or on the front Verandah. NO food in Guest Rooms other than optional breakfast in bed if purchased.

Because they leave permanent stains—NO massage oils. GUEST(S) WILL BE CHARGED THE REPLACEMENT COST(S) OF ANY STAINED ITEM(S) INCLUDING ANY AND ALL LINENS, BEDDING, OR RUGS.

Please use the complimentary Lavender Bath Salts provided. As they damage whirlpools—NO Bubble baths or oils.

We reserve the right to assign you to another room of equal or greater value at no additional charge.

Lost keys will be added to your bill in the amount of $5 per outside door key and $25 per skeleton key (room key).

There is a $25 fee for all returned checks.

The BEALL MANSION is not responsible for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.

Not appropriate for most younger children.

No pets (there kennel facilities within six minutes of The BEALL MANSION.)
