General Policies

Check in is from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. or as otherwise arranged. Since we have to run all errands between guests, please let us know if this changes so we don't miss you. Valid photo I.D. required. Checkout is 11:00 A.M.

The following items are prohibited:

NO Red Wine, Grape Juice, Tomato Juice, Bloody Mary Mix, or other items that may stain.

NO coolers because they may leak and damage hardwood floors or Oriental rugs. We will provide an ice bucket to chill white wine or other non staining beverages.

NO food in Guest Rooms other than optional breakfast in bed if purchased. Please enjoy any food or snacks in the Dining Room, Butler's Pantry or on the front Verandah only.

NO massage oils as they leave permanent stains. GUEST(S) WILL BE CHARGED THE REPLACEMENT COST(S) OF ANY STAINED ITEM(S) INCLUDING ANY AND ALL LINENS, BEDDING, OR RUGS.

NO bubble baths or oils as they damage whirlpools. Please use the complimentary Lavender Bath Salts provided.

NO Smoking, NO Candles, and NO Incense in The BEALL MANSION or on the Verandah Room balcony!

THERE WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL FEE CHARGED FOR ROOMS LEFT IN EXCESSIVELY DIRTY CONDITION, STAIN OR ODOR REMOVAL, LOST OR MISSING ITEMS, OR DAMAGE CAUSED BY ANY MEMBER OF YOUR PARTY. THIS INCLUDES A MINIMUM $500 CLEANING AND DEODORIZING FEE PLUS A CHARGE IN THE AMOUNT OF THE PUBLISHED RACK RATE FOR EACH NIGHT THE ROOM CANNOT BE RENTED DUE TO TOBACCO OR INCENSE ODOR, AND A MINIMUM $250 CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE FEE IF ANYTHING OTHER THAN THE COMPLIMENTARY BATH SALTS ARE USED IN THE WHIRLPOOL.

We reserve the right to assign you to another room of equal or greater value at no additional charge.

Lost keys will be added to your bill in the amount of $5 per outside door key and $25 per skeleton key (room key).

There will be a $25 fee for all returned checks.

Maximum two people per room unless otherwise arranged. The Senator Edmond Beall and Mary Harris rooms have an adjoining door which can be unlocked from each side to form a connecting suite.

The BEALL MANSION is not responsible for loss of money, jewelry or valuables of any kind.

Not appropriate for most younger children.

No pets (nearby kennel facilities are available.)
