Alton-Audubon Eagle Festival 2013
The beginning of the year marks the start of the eagle watching season. Activities will include a live eagle meet and greet, tips on eagle watching and others. This all takes place Sat., Jan 5, 2013 at the Audubon Center at Riverlands from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free.

24th Annual Olde Alton Arts & Crafts Fair
You can treat others yourself for the upcoming holidays, with over 200 booths at the arts and crafts fair, there’s bound to be something for that person on your list. Crafters will be at Alton High School on Sat., Dec. 1 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sun., Dec. 2 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All proceeds from the fair benefit the instrumental music program in the Alton School District.
