Mercantile Library is located on the 2 lower levels of Thomas Jefferson Library (you will walk in on the 3rd floor). Exhibitions can be viewed during normal Thomas Jefferson Library hours. Enjoy the exhibition by yourself or take a free, docent-led tour Saturdays at 11 or Sundays at 2. Group tours can also be arranged. Annual Elsah Photography Exhibit

Amateur and professional photographers come together to present this annual exhibit, displaying photographs of the Village of Elsah and immediate areas in all seasons.

The purpose of this year’s exhibit “Elsah: A Hidden Surprise” is to celebrate and cultivate an appreciation for the unique beauty found in the quaint village of Elsah, Illinois in every season.

Annual Arbor Day Celebration

This Arbor Day, enjoy a nice day outdoors and join the Village of Godfrey in celebrating the environment! The day kicks off with a youth fishing derby and continues with vendors, a climbing wall, environmental crafts, and more fun. The annual Tree Memorial Dedication Ceremony will be held at noon to recognize all trees planted in memory and in honor of loved ones.

Bask in the sunshine of a beautiful spring day, while celebrating nature! The Annual Arbor Day Celebration promises a good time for all!
