Great Godfrey Corn Maze

Embark on an “a-MAZE-ing” adventure through the Great Godfrey Corn Maze, this year featuring a Harry Potter theme!

Cut into 7 acres of corn, the maze is certainly challenging to navigate… and is an even greater adventure after dark! Visit the maze around Halloween (October 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, & 25) for even more thrills with an additional “haunted” maze.

The maze is open every Friday (6 pm – 10 pm), Saturday (10 am – 10 pm), and Sunday (opens at 1 pm) until October 26. Please call (618) 466-1483 with any questions.

Grafton Riverside Flea Market

Louis IX: King, Saint, Namesake Exhibit

In celebration of the city’s 250th birthday, St. Louis Art Museum presents Louis IX: King, Saint, Namesake.

This free exhibit showcases extraordinary art from the reign of Louis IX, as well as later works inspired by the 13th-century monarch. The exhibit will feature 13th-century carved ivory and metalwork, decorated manuscripts, a 17th-century illustrated book about Louis’s achievement of bringing the Crown of Thorns to Paris, an altarpiece painting by Louise-Marie Mauduit that Bishop Louis William Valentine DuBourg sent to the city of St. Louis in 1818, among many other artifacts.

The museum is open 10 am – 5 pm Tuesday through Sunday and 10 am – 9 pm Friday.

Watershed Cairns Exhibit

This new photography exhibit artfully highlights the St. Louis area’s close connection to rivers and streams. The images of the Watershed Cairns exhibit document important places in our regional watershed through vivid, large-scale photos of sculptural cairns made of glass. By naming and mapping sites of the photos, the exhibit offers visitors the chance to learn of the interconnection of these waters and the areas through which they pass.

Disney’s The Little Mermaid (Presented by Variety Children’s Theatre)

Be enchanted by this unique production of the classic tale of “The Little Mermaid”, presented by Variety Children’s Theatre, an organization dedicated to giving children “the opportunity to bring their gifted personalities to a first-class theatrical production”.

Under the direction of Tony Award nominee Lara Teeter, Variety’s production brings together professional performers and an ensemble of children of all abilities, along with a live orchestra, stunning costumes, and dazzling sets, creating a magical experience for the whole family.

Alton Little Theater presents: Kosher Lutherans (Comedy)

Hanna and Franklyn are a seemingly perfect couple and desperately want to have a child, but are unable to do so. They begin to wonder if they’ll ever be able to have a child, and they have a chance encounter with a God-fearing pregnant girl from Iowa who has conceived out of wedlock and offers to let them adopt her baby. Just after the adoption papers are signed, the couple finds out that the girl does not know they are Jewish. Knowing that this could crush their chances of getting the child, Hanna and Franklyn pose as Lutherans to attract the girl and her obvious Midwestern sensibilities. But how far will they go to have a family?

Greater Alton Concert Association: Beatlemania Magic

A unique tribute to the Beatles, “Beatlemania Magic” recreates the magic and excitement of Beatlemania. This national touring Beatles tribute band recreates early Beatles concerts with identical costumes, equipment, and of course harmonies.
