Alton Little Theater presents: Shenandoah (Musical)
Mar 29 @ 2:00 pm

Based on the 1965 film, Shenandoah is the heartrending story of Charlie Anderson, a widower, who lives with his large family in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia during the American Civil War. As the war rages around him, he does not wish to be involved because he doesn’t consider it to be “his” war. He desperately tries to keep his family neutral as well, but they are inevitably swept up in the strife. The story is a heartwarming portrayal of the turmoil that left wounds not only on the soldiers who bravely fought, but also on the land and its people for generations to come.

Showtimes are:
Thursday, March 19 – Saturday, March 21 at 7:30 pm
Sunday, March 22 at 2 pm
Thursday, March 26 – Saturday, March 28 at 7:30 pm

Tickets are $20 for adults and $8 for students. Group rates are available. For more information, please visit altonlittletheater.org or call (618) 462-3205.
