Birds of Prey @ Lewis & Clark Confluence Tower

Sure, eagles may be the most popular, but they aren’t the only birds of prey in the Riverbend. Learn about the many other birds that call this area home with displays and educational activities throughout the day. Treehouse Wildlife Center will also be there with live raptors. Ask questions, take pictures, and see these amazing birds up close!

With roots in hip hop and street art, Jorge Medina of Wisek Art showcases a fantastic fusion of fine art and street style to create eclectic works of art that will be available for purchase throughout the evening. As you watch Jorge Medina work his magic, enjoy old style hip-hop played by DJ Pome and DJ CBS.

Dinner Theatre: “Love Letters” @ Jacoby Arts Center

Enjoy a special Mardi Gras-themed presentation of “Love Letters”, complete with all-you-can-eat jambalaya. And what’s a Mardi Gras celebration without king cake and beads? Have it all at Jacoby Arts Center’s Mardi Gras Dinner Theatre Saturday, February 6th!

This touching romance is a theatre piece unlike any you’ve seen before. A.R. Gurney’s unique play consists of love letters between childhood friends Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner spanning 50 years. Learn their hopes and ambitions and hear their love for each other as Bankside Repertory Theatre Company takes the stage at Jacoby Arts Center February 5th, 6th, 12th, and 13th.

Birds of Winter: Eagle Sunday @ Audubon Center

Join the Audubon Center this winter to see and learn about the Riverbend’s treasure, the magnificent bald eagle, among other migratory birds that make this area their home during the winter months. Enjoy the view while staying warm inside the center, or venture out to the water’s edge for a closer look at nature of the Riverbend.

See a live bald eagle up close and personal each weekend in January and February at TreeHouse Wildlife Center. Visitors will have the chance to ask questions and learn about the species and their habitats.
