Alton Segway Tour

• short Segway instructional course to receive your official “Segway driver's license”.

• Segway tour for two beginning at the National Great Rivers Museum at Melvin Price Lock & Dam and ending in downtown Alton, Illinois.

2010 Alton Segway Tours are from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the following dates:

• April 3, 17
• May 1, 15, 29
• June 12, 26
• July 10, 24
• August 7, 21
• September 4, 18
• October 2, 16, 30

Segway tours must be booked at least 3 days in advance.

Additional nights $159 to $269 Rates vary by room, plan, and dates. Prices subject to change until reservation is confirmed. Note: Segway tours are courtesy the St. Louis Science Center and the National Great Rivers Museum. In the event of a light rain, ponchos will be handed out and the tour will go on. In the event of severe weather The St. Louis Science Center will cancel the tour and your credit card will be credited the amount of the tour. Segway Tour participants must be able to to stand for up to three hours, go up and down stairs without assistance, have full use of both hands and not suffer from back, knee, or hip problems. Not recommended for pregnant women.
